VST3 modulein the NoAMP zipv0.4.1
A looper that works like a pedal looper: four switches, made for feet, happy with your MIDI stomp. It runs as a VST3 or on its own as a standalone app. A loop can be up to 2 minutes long. The loop audio lives in memory and is not saved with your session.
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| WRITE | Press 1 records. Press 2 closes the loop and plays it. Then each press toggles overdub in and out. Leave a dub open past the loop end and the loop multiplies (2×, 3×, 4×). From stopped, WRITE restarts from the top with a new dub. |
| PLAY | Stop, or restart from the top. Pressed during the first recording, it closes the loop and parks it. |
| LAYER | During the first recording it cancels the take; during an overdub it scraps that pass; otherwise it toggles the last layer out and back in. After a CLEAR, it brings the cleared loop back. |
| CLEAR | Wipes the loop. Works only when stopped (otherwise the screen says STOP FIRST). LAYER undoes it. |
Right-click a switch for MIDI Learn or Clear mapping; once mapped its label shows the CC number. Every press is one action, so momentary and latching footswitches both work. Mappings are machine-wide, not per session.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Loop | Loop playback level, −24 to +12 dB. |
| Feedback | How much of the older layers survives each overdub. 1.0 keeps every layer; lower makes old layers fade. |
| Monitor | How much of your live input you hear. |
| Mode | Free acts the moment you press. Sync lands presses on the grid: the host tempo in a DAW. |
| Unit | The grid for Sync: Bar or Beat. |
| Stop | Where a stop lands: Next Bar, Loop End or Instant. |
| Dub | Loop Top: an overdub starts at the top of the loop and ends at its end. Instant: it starts now. |
The screen shows the state (EMPTY, REC, PLAY, DUB, STOP, and the queued forms like DUB @TOP), the position and length (bars:beats in Sync, minutes and seconds in Free) and the tempo. Short flashes confirm an action: RETAKE, SCRAP, BACK, CLEAR, MAX when the 2-minute memory is full.
If your USB stomp goes silent until you replug it, that is Windows putting USB to sleep: the fix is in tips.
The LOOPER card is the last stage of the board, so it records everything you hear. It adds a separate STOP switch, a Next Beat stop, TAKES (choose whether the guitar, the vocal and the drums are recorded) and a kit LINK on the STIX deck. Presets never touch a playing loop. See LOOPER in the NoAMP manual.
